SENIOR MANAGER, TALENT ACQUISITION - EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA


The Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition, reporting to the VP, People, to lead our efforts in building a high performing team to enable Skyryse to achieve its mission to revolutionize aviation technology with the goal of making every person on the planet a pilot while creating the safest mode of transportation ever. This is a full-time onsite opportunity based in El Segundo, California. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing recruitment team in a collaborative environment
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership for recruitment across a wide range of roles—from entry-level to senior leadership—spanning multiple teams or business units. Serve as a trusted advisor to senior management on hiring strategy, talent market dynamics, and emerging recruiting trends
  • Manage metrics-driven recruiting processes with a focus on time-to-fill and candidate quality
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to coordinate recruiting activities, interview processes, and hiring decisions
  • Develop and lead employer branding efforts to attract top talent in partnership with the communications team

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelor’s degree or similar experience
  • 8+ years of experience in recruiting, including 4+ years in a people management role 
  • Proven ability to manage and mentor recruiting teams in fast-paced, high-growth environments
  • Deep understanding of technical roles, hiring challenges, and market dynamics in hardware
  • Data-driven mindset with experience using ATS tools (Greenhouse) and recruiting analytics to optimize processes
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
  • Aerospace experience is a strong plus

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:


  • SPHR, PHR or SHRM CPR Certification 
  • Previous experience recruiting in the aerospace sector
  • Proven track record leading high-performing recruiting teams, including both individual contributors and managers
