We are looking for a Demand Generation Specialist to drive top-of-funnel activity and generate qualified opportunities through data and analytics, targeted outreach and lead qualification. Directly supporting Paperwise, a Dura Software company, this is a fulltime Non-Exempt position (overtime eligible) that can be fully remote or hybrid. Proximity to our Springfield, Missouri office is a plus, but not required.

About the role:

The Demand Generation Specialist is responsible for executing outreach strategies to generate and qualify leads across Dura Software companies. The Specialist fuels sales pipeline growth by sourcing, engaging, and qualifying prospects through coordinated outbound and inbound efforts, and aligning handoffs to Account Executives. This includes proactive outreach via email, phone, LinkedIn and CRM management, and close collaboration with Marketing and Sales. The specialist plays a key role in setting meetings and demos that lead to new business.

Primary Responsibilities


  • Fast-track basic company product knowledge, to support confident delivery and messaging
  • Drive outbound prospecting efforts across multiple target markets, leveraging email, phone, and LinkedIn
  • Outbound call protocols and expectations: 

        - Initiate outbound calls to potential clients, introducing our products/services        - Consistently make a set number of cold calls to book appointments for BDR/Account Managers        - Qualify leads through phone conversations and assess their fit        - Effectively handle objections and engage prospects in meaningful phone conversations

  • Manage time and outreach volume effectively, maintaining consistent follow-up and documentation
  • Qualify inbound leads, set appointments for Account Executives and log detailed call/email notes to support the handoff 
  • Track outreach performance and pipeline progression in CRM tools
  • Collaborate with Marketing to refine outreach strategies based on performance data
  • Share insights and objections with team to refine strategy; track and refine tactics based on outreach results
  • Build and manage contact lists using Apollo

Required Experience & Qualifications


  • 1–3 years in a business development, demand generation, or inside sales role
  • Experience with CRMs (Salesforce, Satuit) and sales tools (Apollo.io, LinkedIn)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with B2B sales cycles
