Client Success Manager (Contract-to-Hire)


Mission Minded is seeking a skilled Client Success Manager to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis. This role plays a central function in ensuring the smooth, high-quality delivery of our brand strategy and creative work. You’ll act as a bridge between our clients and internal teams, managing timelines, deliverables, communications, and coordination from kickoff through completion.This is a 3–6 month contract with the strong potential to transition into a full-time role for the right candidate.

We’re looking for someone who can jump in with confidence, bring structure to fast-moving projects, and uphold the values and quality standards that define Mission Minded.

Key Responsibilities


Strategic Client Partnership


  • Guide new clients through onboarding, ensuring alignment and clarity from the start.
  • Act as a client liaison throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring continuous, clear communication between the agency and clients to guarantee smooth project delivery.
  • Set and manage expectations around timelines, deliverables, and process.

Project Management and Delivery Excellence


  • Develop and manage detailed project plans to ensure timelines, budgets, and deliverables remain on track.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams—including strategy, design, and leadership—to ensure alignment and momentum throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate smooth handoffs between departments and manage internal reviews to keep projects moving forward efficiently.
  • Proactively identify project risks, scope changes, or delays and escalate them early with recommendations for resolution.
  • Oversee project trafficking by monitoring all active and upcoming projects, ensuring the right people are assigned to the right work at the right time.
  • Track team capacity and project workload to identify resource gaps, overlaps, or bottlenecks before they impact delivery.
  • Collaborate with leadership to adjust staffing and timelines as needed, using resource planning tools to maintain visibility and balance across the agency.

Client Engagement Leadership


  • Contribute to the evolution of project and client engagement processes to improve efficiency, team experience, and client outcomes.
  • Develop and share tools, templates, and guidance to help team members manage their workflows effectively and meet project expectations.
  • Train and support team members in using project management systems and following best practices to ensure consistent, efficient workflows across departments.

Client & Agency Success


  • Collaborate on project scopes and proposals, advising on resourcing, timelines, and workflow.
  • Support client retention and satisfaction by ensuring seamless, high-quality project experiences.
  • Embody Mission Minded values and participate in agency-wide meetings, planning, and initiatives.

Qualifications


  • 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in a creative agency or nonprofit consulting environment. Web project management is a plus.
  • Proven track record managing complex, multi-phase client projects with many stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead meetings, manage deadlines, and keep projects on time and within scope.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including strategists, designers, and leadership.
  • Adept at using project management tools (e.g., Teamwork.com- preferred, Asana, Trello, Basecamp, Monday.com, or similar).
  • Comfort with ambiguity and flexibility in navigating changing priorities or evolving scopes.
  • Passion for mission-driven work and commitment to values of equity, inclusion, and collaboration.

Contract Details


  • Engagement: 3–6 month contract to start
  • Hours: Full-time preferred; open to part-time ramp-up
  • Hourly Rate: $60–$75/hour (based on experience and availability)
  • Potential for Full-Time Conversion: Yes—if mutual fit is strong
  • Anticipated Full-Time Salary Range upon Conversion: $65,000–$85,000 annually
  • Remote: Yes; must collaborate effectively across U.S. time zones
