As Account Manager, you will build upon existing relationships with current accounts and identify new opportunities in which our products and services can better help our clients’ businesses. Your work as an Account Manager has several components:
As an Account Manager at Savant, you will be the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, acting as the advocate for the client and ensuring their IT needs are met with excellence. You will leverage your technical knowledge to guide clients through the technology solutions that best suit their business requirements. Your role will balance customer service and sales responsibilities, ensuring smooth service delivery, identifying growth opportunities, and staying ahead of technological advancements to provide proactive solutions that support client success.• Client Relationship Management - Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, serving as their trusted advisor for all IT-related needs.
Understand client environments, challenges, and goals to recommend the right technology solutions that drive business success.• Service Expansion - Proactively identify and seize opportunities for additional service offerings, technology upgrades, and solutions within your assigned accounts. Stay up to date with industry trends and innovations to bring new, relevant technologies to clients that can enhance their operations.• Customer Service Excellence - Provide high-touch, white-glove service to all clients, ensuring that any technical issues or needs are addressed promptly and effectively. Ensure your clients feel heard, valued, and supported in every interaction.• Routine Client Engagement - Conduct regular site visits with clients, predominantly within the Atlanta metro area, to assess their current technology infrastructure, discuss future needs, and identify opportunities for improving operational efficiency through technology.• Contract & SLA Management - Manage service contracts, ensuring that all terms are met and service level agreements (SLAs) are maintained. Review and renew contracts as necessary, ensuring clients continue to receive the best value from their technology investments.• Escalation Management - Lead the resolution of escalated customer care issues by collaborating with internal technical teams to drive solutions quickly and efficiently, ensuring that clients’ technical problems are solved in a timely manner.• Sales Support & Solution Design - Provide end-to-end sales support for clients, using your technical expertise to design and propose solutions that meet client needs. Ensure that each solution is tailored to the client’s business goals, integrating the latest technology to maximize value.• Technical Consultation & Education - Serve as a technology consultant to clients, translating complex technical concepts into actionable, easy-to-understand language.
Ensure clients are educated about the technologies being deployed and how they can best leverage them to improve efficiency and reduce costs.• Collaboration & Team Support - Work closely with internal technical teams to deliver integrated solutions and services. Champion the importance of superior service and technology excellence across departments, ensuring that all client-facing teams are aligned on solutions and objectives.

• Strong Technical Acumen - A deep understanding of IT solutions, including network infrastructure, cloud computing, cybersecurity, software applications, and IT support services. Ability to use your technical knowledge to identify and solve problems and offer clients the best solutions.• Self-Motivated & Independent - A proactive and independent professional who takes the initiative to drive client success. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with a collaborative mindset to work closely with internal teams and clients.• Sales & Service Mentality - An aggressive "farmer's" mentality with the ability to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities within existing accounts.
Strong sales instincts to uncover needs and provide tailored solutions that generate both immediate and long-term value for clients.• Experience - 3+ years of experience in account management, preferably in the technology or IT services space, with a strong background in B2B solution selling.• Problem-Solving & Technical Solutions - Ability to listen to client needs and translate them into technical solutions that enhance efficiency, productivity, and business outcomes. Strong problem-solving skills with a keen ability to identify technology gaps and design solutions.• Industry Awareness - A passion for technology and staying current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. • Experience with MSP (Managed Service Provider) offerings is a plus.• Communication Skills - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner. • Strong presentation skills for discussing technology solutions and business reviews with clients.• Microsoft Office & CRM Proficiency - Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and CRM systems for tracking client information, managing service agreements, and monitoring account performance.If you are a technology-driven, client-focused professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys solving complex challenges, we invite you to apply for the Account Manager role at Savant.
