- Quantitative analysis of business lines under varying scenarios;
- Modeling and understanding enterprise and market risks;
- Development of quantitative and data analysis frameworks for guiding Uphold’s decision making in the context of uncertainty;
- Policy creation and management around the firm’s business lines, particularly in the context of Uphold’s regulatory and compliance footprint;
- Aiding data, revenue, and trading teams in understanding and pricing risk;
- Collaborating with other senior managers to prepare the monthly risk report to the Uphold board of directors;
- Acting as main point of contact between the Executive Committee and the Board for all issues relating to risk management;
- Other duties and responsibilities as reasonably required or assigned by your line manager.
Requirements
- 10+ years of markets and/or investment management experience
- Strong quantitative skills with demonstrated statistical and computational career experience (10+ years)
- Masters/PhD in relevant discipline (Computer Science, Statistics, Physics, etc)
- Experience in regulated industry
- Applied machine learning (10+ years) and management of data and statistical teams (5+ years)
- Based in Lithuania
