We are comprised of a team of artists, engineers, event producers, fabricators and creative thinkers. Our strength lies in the broad range of techniques we use to create first class spectaculars including laser effects, video projection and mapping, pyrotechnics, architectural lighting installs and custom constructed sets and props. We have worked all over the United States completing over 500 projects in the field of creative multimedia shows for clients such as Rihanna, Jay Z, Tiesto, Swiss Embassy, America’s Got Talent and multiple professional sports franchises in the NFL, NBA and NHL.
We have also created temporary interactive installations for the Power Plant in the Inner Harbor of Baltimore, The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and Walt Disney World.
Role Description
Manager, Human ResourcesFull Time, SalaryM-F, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PMThe Manager, Human Resources will serve as a key member of the leadership team, acting as the HR Manager for both ImageSFX and Image Engineering. This team member will be responsible for building and strengthening a solid HR foundation to support our growing organization. We’re looking for someone who brings experience, insight, and strategic vision to help foster a positive, people-focused culture while aligning HR practices with our company goals.
A key part of this role will be ensuring ongoing compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations, particularly as they relate to managing a multi-state company.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Act as the primary point of contact for all HR-related questions, support, and guidance across the organization· Partner with the executive team to align HR strategy with broader company goals and identify areas for improvement· Address team member concerns professionally and support resolution efforts in a timely and fair manner· Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws, including those impacting a multi-state workforce· Promote and maintain a workplace culture that is inclusive, respectful, and high performing· Communicate HR policy updates, deadlines, and procedural changes clearly and consistently to all team members· Manage the full team member lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance, and offboarding· Oversee the administration of team member benefits, including health coverage, paid time off, and open enrollment· Ensure proper classification of team members (exempt vs.
non-exempt, 1099 vs. W-2) and manage risk appropriately· Oversee performance management processes such as reviews, goal setting, and disciplinary action when necessary· Develop and implement training, development, and leadership programs to support growth and retention· Maintain accurate HR records and data through internal systems, including time tracking and personnel files· Review and update the company handbook and HR policies on an annual basis· Process payroll and assist with related compliance· Lead a team to plan and manage company-wide social events

Requirements· Highly organized, with strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize effectively across multiple responsibilities· Demonstrate experience in building and implementing HR processes, systems, and procedures· Detail-oriented and focused, with a strong commitment to accuracy and thoroughness· Self-driven and capable of leading HR initiatives independently, while also providing strategic guidance and support to other team members· Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities· Skilled in active listening and capable of communicating clearly and professionally · Trusted to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and sound judgment· Experience with benefits administration, preferred· Experience supporting multi-state compliance, preferred· Degree in Human Resources or a related field, preferred· Professional HR certification preferred (SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, SPHR, or PHR), preferred· Proficiency with HR systems; Odoo and Paylocity, highly preferredSalary Description$95,000-$110,000
