Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, provides operational and strategic leadership for the following:
- Permanent Supportive Housing
- Transitional Housing
- PATH/Street Outreach
- Emergency Shelter
- Community Transition Services

Anticipates internal and external threats and opportunities and adapts area of responsibility as necessary to create successful outcomes. Knowledgeable of current and future trends and legislation affecting NSO and its industry and how they may affect areas of responsibility. Solid understanding of relevant community, industry, environment and economic factors.

- CLIENT EXPERIENCE
- Comprehensive understanding of the “Client Experience Journey” and how to transform and align the operations of her/his assigned areas to support the delivery of NSO’s defined “Client Experience Journey”. Creates and executes talent, culture and client strategies that ensure delivery of high-quality services in an efficient, effective and fiscally responsible manner.
Candidate Requirements:
Education, Licensure and Experience Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years management experience in a large shelter or residential facility that provides comprehensive social services, housing placement, job skills training and holistic health care to the homeless, mentally ill and chemically dependent populations.
- Experience developing and leading strategic plans and quality, safety, transformation and continuous improvement initiatives. Experience developing and managing organizational budgets and leading teams.
- Experience working in Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) and with Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) and Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) preferred.
