Position Location:
Portland, Oregon
As the Mechanical Engineer, your contributions to the team will include:
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including material selection, stress analysis, and kinematics
- Knowledge of or experience with technologies including injection molding, thermoforming, blow molding, metal fabrication, casting, extrusion fluid flow and pressure dynamics
- Ability to design components and assemblies with high precision, considering tolerances for manufacturing and assembly processes
- Design and engineering of complex assemblies and sophisticated system level products including electrical, software and mechanical components and integration
- Experience with prototyping and iterating on design concepts
- Ability to manage design and development projects from start to completion
- Development and coordination of testing and test fixtures to verify product performance
What we ask of you:
- Required: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
- 2+ years of industry experience
- Electromechanical component and assemble design
- Proficient SolidWorks capabilities
