What We Are Looking For


Persado is looking for a dynamic and experienced Director of People based in Athens, Greece to lead our Global People Team. In this role, you will be a trusted advisor and strategic leader responsible for people operations, talent acquisition, business partnering, and culture and experience initiatives that drive our people strategy forward.

What You Will Work On


  • Lead and mentor a small but high-impact team responsible for talent acquisition, people operations, and the overall employee experience.
  • Partner with the Executive Leadership Team to develop and execute Persado’s people strategy in alignment with the company's mission, vision, and values.
  • Collaborate with people managers to drive organisational initiatives and success through effective people management.
  • Stay up-to-date with EU labor laws and regulations to ensure the organization's compliance.
  • Manage legal and compliance matters related to employment, including investigations and reporting globally.
  • Lead Performance Management Strategy, ensuring systems and processes drive growth, accountability, and alignment with company goals.
  • Support managers with strategic guidance in performance evaluations, fostering a culture of continuous development and high performance.
  • Drive strategic talent strategies to meet workforce planning needs and target and retain top talent.
  • Oversee hiring, onboarding, and offboarding processes
  • Address employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances by enforcing policies that promote a positive work environment.
  • Set the Strategic Direction for competitive and fair compensation and benefits programs, aligning with industry trends and internal equity.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that promotes employee engagement and retention.

What You Bring


  • 7+ years in HR, including 3+ in leadership, ideally within tech, startups or high-growth environments.
  • Proven experience in aligning HR strategy with business goals to drive growth and a people-centered culture.
  • Passionate about fostering a positive, inclusive workplace that boosts employee engagement and morale.
  • Skilled in performance management and guiding managers through feedback and improvement processes.
  • Expertise in talent acquisition, recruitment best practices, and succession planning.
  • Strong understanding of competitive compensation and benefits to ensure market alignment.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws and proactive management of HR compliance.
  • Analytical mindset, leveraging HR metrics to inform strategies and support executive decisions.
  • Experienced in leading organizational change, including culture and transformation initiatives.
  • Financially savvy, with experience managing HR budgets and resources efficiently.
