Location: 4400 Papa Joe Hendrick Blvd, Charlotte, North Carolina 28262As a Senior Accountant at our manufacturing company, you will be responsible for the comprehensive management and analysis of financial operations within the organization. Your role will encompass both accounting and financial planning, providing critical insights that support strategic decision-making and ensuring the financial health and compliance of the company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
- Budget Management: Develop, monitor, and revise budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and financial constraints.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement.
- Audit Coordination: Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Tax Compliance: Manage tax filings and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure liquidity and financial stability.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies that drive business growth and profitability.
- Team Leadership: Mentor 2 junior accountants, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- System Implementation: Evaluate and implement financial systems and software to streamline operations and enhance reporting capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA, CFA, or other relevant certification is highly desirable.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in public accounting and/or accounting in a manufacturing company.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., D365 F&O, PowerBI) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Experience with financial modeling and data analysis tools is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
- Ethical Standards: Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards and integrity in all financial practices.
- Preferred Project Management skills: Experience in managing financial projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and system implementation
- Preferred Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industry-specific financial regulations and standards.
- Preferred Advanced Certifications: Additional certifications in accounting, finance, or related areas (e.g., CPA, CFA, CMA).

Attendance Expectations:
The position requires regular and predictable attendance. Scheduled shifts may include evening hours, weekends, and holidays. Ability to work a flexible schedule is required. Role is not remote and must regularly be performed in the assigned office location.
Physical Demands:
Frequently sits, manually manipulates and lifts/carries/pushes and pulls up to 10 pounds. Occasionally stands, walks, reaches outward and above shoulder level, bends and squats. Occasionally lifts/ carries/ pushes and pulls up to 50 pounds.
Environment Demands:
Primarily works indoors in an office environment. May occasionally perform work in the shop environment.
Verbal and Writing Ability:
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Strong mathematical skills required.
