Position Summary:
As a Motion Designer at EarnIn, you’ll help bring our brand to life through eye-catching animations, compelling video content, and motion-forward storytelling. You'll play a key role in concepting and producing short-form videos, social content, and product demos that drive engagement and bring clarity to our messaging. This role will also support junior editing needs across formats. You’ll work closely with our Senior Editor, who you’ll report to, as well as partner with designers, marketers, and content leads across the team.
This role is based in Mexico City and is ideal for someone with strong motion design skills and a solid foundation in editing, who’s excited to collaborate, grow, and make work that stands out.
What You’ll Do:
- Design and animate motion graphics for product videos, paid social, emails, and app tutorials.
- Support editing needs across projects, including cutting short-form content, adjusting timing, footage sourcing and adding music/sfx.
- Work closely with the Senior Editor to ensure motion work ladders up to EarnIn’s creative identity.
- Translate static creative into motion assets that are optimized for both brand and performance.
- Contribute to the visual storytelling of campaigns across growth, product marketing, and brand.
- Stay current on emerging trends and tools to push our motion identity forward, keeping content fresh and relevant while staying true to our brand.
- Maintain a well-organized workflow, including clear file structures and version control, to ensure seamless collaboration and asset handoffs.
- Thoughtfully incorporate feedback to improve creative work with clarity and purpose.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 4+ years in motion design or video editing, ideally within a marketing, brand, or content team.
- Skills: Proficient in After Effects, Premiere, and Adobe Creative Suite. Experience with Figma, Rive and/or Illustrator is a plus.
- Mindset: Fast, flexible, and collaborative — able to juggle multiple deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.
- Organizational Strength: Detail-oriented with excellent time management and project tracking habits.
- Bonus Points: Experience with AI-assisted creative tools, illustration or 3D animation.
