Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Systems Specialist with expertise in NetSuite to join our dynamic finance team. This role is critical in leading the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of NetSuite ERP across multiple business units. The ideal candidate will combine a deep understanding of financial processes with strong technical proficiency in ERP systems, particularly NetSuite.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead NetSuite ERP ImplementationsManage end-to-end implementation projects for new business units, including requirement gathering, configuration, testing, training, and go-live support.
- System Administration & OptimizationAct as the NetSuite administrator—manage user roles and permissions, maintain system configurations, and support updates and enhancements.
- Process ImprovementPartner with finance and operations teams to identify opportunities to automate workflows, improve data integrity, and enhance financial reporting.
- Data Integrity & ReportingEnsure consistency and accuracy of financial data across all modules (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Procurement, etc.). Develop and maintain custom reports and dashboards on an ad hoc basis.
- Cross-Business CollaborationServe as a liaison between Finance, IT, and other departments to ensure that system functionalities align with business goals.
- Training & SupportTrain end-users and provide ongoing support. Develop documentation and SOPs for system processes and changes.
- Project ManagementLead or support special projects involving mergers, acquisitions, or the rollout of new financial tools and integrations.
Qualifications
- Education:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field. CPA, CMA, or MBA a plus.
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in financial systems roles, preferably within multi-entity or multinational businesses.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with NetSuite, including implementation, administration, and customization.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in NetSuite ERP modules
- Strong knowledge of financial processes, IFRS, and month-end close procedures.
- Experience with data migration, integrations, and third-party financial tools
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.
- Project management and change management experience a plus.
