Senior Product Designer, Design Systems

Join our dynamic team and be a part of shaping the future.Position Overview:As a Senior Product Designer, Design Systems at Fullbay, you will lead the creation of scalable, accessible design foundations that elevate every layer of our platform. You'll partner closely with engineering to shape a modular system of UI components, patterns, and design tokens that power consistent, high-performance experiences across web and mobile.
This is a strategic role focused on improving usability at scale, streamlining product development, and enabling teams to deliver with quality and speed. You'll use your systems thinking, product sensibility, and mentoring mindset to evolve our design practice, advocate for customer first experiences, and establish the design system as a cornerstone of Fullbay’s product vision.Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead the creation and evolution of a modular, accessible, and extensible design system from the ground up, ensuring consistency and scalability across all product experiences
- Establish Figma infrastructure (tokens, libraries, patterns) to scale across mobile and web, including documentation for the use of components and patterns
- Collaborate closely with Engineering and Product to ensure components are built consistently in Figma and code keeping UI performance, offline-resilience, and accessibility top of mind
- Partner with the Director of Product Design to scale a high-impact, human-centered design practice
- Support and mentor designers on the team
- Present design concepts and rationales to stakeholders, advocating for customer needs while aligning with business goals
- Use a data driven approach to validate design decisions and refine product features
- Stay informed of emerging AI trends and proactively bring new ideas and best practices to Fullbay’s design approach
- Adheres to all confidentiality and compliance regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education & Work Experience:
- Have 5+ years of product design experience, including 2+ years working with design systems at scale
- Have experience working in mobile-first and/or fieldwork environments (SaaS, logistics, tools)
- Love building foundations from scratch and know how to balance idealism with pragmatism
- Know the ins and outs of tokens, accessibility standards (WCAG), and component libraries
- Have strong experience with Figma, Auto Layout, and plugin workflows
- Thrive in ambiguity and enjoy helping shape team culture
