Senior Site Reliability Engineer

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design, optimization and support of enterprise infrastructure and application deployment pipelines. This role ensures systems meet high standards of reliability, security, and scalability through automation, observability, and incident response leadership. The Senior SRE mentors junior engineers, drives architectural improvements, and collaborates across departments to evolve infrastructure maturity and operational excellence.

You will:


  • Architect and maintain reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure across hybrid environments
  • Lead the development of CI/CD automation, testing, and deployment systems
  • Manage observability stack (e.g., logging, metrics, distributed tracing) for system health and diagnostics
  • Lead incident response processes, postmortems, and continuous improvement efforts
  • Partner with Security, DevOps, and Application Engineering to enforce compliance and best practices
  • Guide infrastructure upgrades, system migrations, and capacity planning
  • Drive infrastructure documentation, knowledge sharing, and mentoring initiatives
  • Support disaster recovery planning and testing activities
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide escalation support for complex issues

What We’re Looking For:


  • 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, SRE, or DevOps roles
  • Expert-level scripting and automation experience (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms, containers, and infrastructure-as-code
  • Knowledge of systems security and governance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, SOC 2)
  • Experience managing distributed systems and high-availability environments
  • Strong communication skills and experience mentoring technical teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field strongly preferred
  • Certifications in cloud platforms or infrastructure technologies highly desirable
  • Proven ability to design and implement scalable, highly available systems in production environments
  • Experience leading incident response efforts, including root cause analysis and implementation of preventative measures
  • Demonstrated ownership of system health, including proactive identification of performance bottlenecks and reliability risks
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills; able to influence and collaborate with software engineering, security, compliance, and product teams
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and driving clarity in complex infrastructure or architectural decisions
  • Track record of mentoring and guiding junior engineers and contributing to team technical growth
  • Familiarity with cost optimization strategies in cloud-native environments
  • Experience working in or supporting regulated environments (e.g., healthcare, finance) with attention to security and compliance
  • Strong documentation and knowledge-sharing mindset; creates and maintains infrastructure standards and operational runbooks

Pay Range: 


$120,825 - $169,155
