Position Summary
The Head of Product Design & Delivery at eMed is a strategic leader responsible for owning the end-to-end product lifecycle—from human-centered design through scalable delivery and launch. You will lead a multidisciplinary team across Product Design, Product Management, and Program Delivery to ensure all solutions meet user needs, business objectives, and regulatory standards. Your mission is to translate vision into impactful, user-friendly, and compliant healthtech products that drive measurable value.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Leadership
- Define and evolve eMed’s product design and delivery strategy across multiple digital health platforms.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align product roadmaps with company goals, clinical needs, and market opportunities.
- Champion a product-first, user-centered design mindset across the organization.
Design & User Experience
- Lead the product design function to deliver intuitive, accessible, and high-impact experiences across web and mobile interfaces.
- Drive UX research and testing to ensure clinical workflows and consumer journeys are frictionless and effective.
- Set design standards, systems, and governance to support scalable growth.
Product Delivery & Execution
- Manage cross-functional product delivery teams including product managers, designers, and program leads.
- Oversee Agile execution, ensuring milestones are met on time, on budget, and with the highest quality.
- Implement systems for backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and feature release management.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Engineering, Clinical, Regulatory, Legal, Operations, and Marketing to build and launch safe, compliant, and effective products.
- Communicate product vision, requirements, and timelines to stakeholders at all levels.
- Ensure timely documentation and audit-readiness for FDA, HIPAA, and other healthcare compliance needs.
Team Management & Development
- Attract, mentor, and retain top talent in product design and delivery.
- Build a high-performance, mission-driven team culture grounded in continuous learning, data-driven decision making, and empathy.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in product management, product design, and/or delivery roles, ideally in healthcare, healthtech, or regulated industries.
- 5+ years leading cross-functional product teams with direct reports across design and delivery functions.
- Proven ability to launch complex digital products from ideation to scale.
- Strong understanding of user experience design, systems thinking, Agile methodologies, and product lifecycle management.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence at the executive level.
- Experience with regulated environments (FDA, HIPAA, CLIA) strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in design, engineering, business, or health-related field a plus.
