Er entwickelt geeignete Workarounds und leitet nicht lösbare Fälle an den Third-Level-Support weiter.Als Global Technical Support Engineer (m/w/d) bei 1WorldSync bist du unter anderem für folgende Aufgaben zuständig:

  • AnsprechpartnerIn für unsere internationalen Kunden und Partner im technischen Support
  • Verantwortung für die Fehleranalyse, Bereitstellung von Workarounds, Problemlösung und Problemverfolgung
  • Bearbeitung und Analyse technischer Incidents inkl. Eskalation an den Third Level Support
  • Technische Fehleranalyse im Backend auf Linux-Servern per Kommandozeile sowie Auswertung von XML-basierten Datennachrichten
  • Analyse von API-Fehlern auf der 1WorldSync-Plattform
  • Erstellung und Nachverfolgung von Problem-Tickets
  • Unterstützung von GS1-Mitgliederorganisationen und Partnern bei Second-Level-Anfragen und Fehleranalysen
  • Vergütete Rufbereitschaft für GS1 Australien und Neuseeland

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten und Erfahrungen:

  • Abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung im Bereich IT und/oder Erfahrung in einer vergleichbaren Position
  • Idealerweise technisches Vorwissen, speziell im Linux Bereich
  • Idealerweise XML und API Erfahrungen
  • Gutes technisches Verständnis für die Funktionsweisen von IT-Systemen
  • Selbstständige und analytische Arbeitsweise sowie hohe Team-und Kommunikationsfähigkeit
  • Lösungsorientierte und strukturierte Herangehensweise an Anfragen und Problemstellungen
  • Sehr gute Deutsch und Englisch Kenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

With approximately 600 employees across the US, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Portugal, Switzerland, and the UK, we’re seeking a(n) Global Technical Support Engineer (m/f/d) to support our growing global team.The Global Technical Support Engineer (m/f/d) reports to our Director Technical Support and is responsible for analyzing business-critical and technically challenging customer requests. They develop suitable workarounds and forward unsolvable cases to third-level support.As Global Technical Support Engineer (m/f/d) at 1WorldSync, responsibilities include the following:

  • Contact person for our international customers and partners in technical support
  • Responsibility for error analysis, provision of workarounds, problem resolution and problem tracking
  • Processing and analysis of technical incidents including escalation to third level support
  • Technical error analysis in the backend on Linux servers via command line and evaluation of XML-based data messages
  • Analysis of API errors on the 1WorldSync platform
  • Creation and tracking of problem tickets
  • Support of GS1 member organizations and partners with second level inquiries and error analysis
  • Remunerated on-call duty for GS1 Australia and New Zealand

Required Skills and Experience: 

  • Completed vocational training in IT and/or experience in a comparable position
  • Ideally previous technical knowledge, especially in the Linux area
  • Ideally XML and API experience
  • Good technical understanding of the functioning of IT systems
  • Independent and analytical way of working as well as high team and communication skills
  • Solution-oriented and structured approach to inquiries and problems
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills

  • ITIL Foundation Certificate
