Summary:

AIPAC is seeking an integral member of our team to be responsible for engaging and developing a pro-Israel club base in our Northeast regional office.  The job involves fundraising, club member management and retention, and leadership development.  The Associate Director will guide and mobilize our lay leadership in their growth within AIPAC and the larger pro-Israel movement.

Detailed Duties:


  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with AIPAC Club members
  • Solicit annual membership, and obtain increased donations and participation
  • Deliver speeches and foreign policy briefings to small and large audiences
  • Work with Area Director(s) to identify creative and innovative strategies to achieve development goals
  • Recruit members and prospects to attend national AIPAC events
  • Participate in weekly regional and national staff meetings
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree plus work experience in related field preferred
  • Passion for a strong U.S. –Israel relationship
  • Strong interest in politics, the Middle East
  • Minimum 2 years fundraising, business or political experience
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
  • Experience with public speaking

AIPAC is offering a competitive market base salary between $60,000.00 and $100,000.00 for the position. A job offer within the range will depend on how closely a candidate's skills and experience match the role's requirements. AIPAC also offers a competitive and comprehensive benefits package that contributes to employees’ overall total compensation package.
