Senior Revenue Accountant


Why We Have This Role


Our Revenue Accounting Team is growing and Qualtrics is looking for an energetic and self-motivated individual to join our Finance team. We are a goal-oriented team that works hard and grows and learns together. The ideal candidate is a hard-working, detail oriented, and self-starting accountant with excellent communication skills. How You’ll Grow


The Revenue Accountant Role allows you to grow in your expertise in the technical application of ASC 606 in complex deal structures while learning about the end to end quote to cash process. This role works cross functionally with other teams in Finance and other parts of the business which allows you to increase your business acumen beyond your accounting knowledge..

Things You’ll Do


  • Complete contract deal reviews and ensure appropriate application ASC 606 
  • Partner with FP&A and Operational Deal Supporting Teams to ensure accurate reporting and forecasting of revenue
  • Assist in month, quarter and annual finance close processes
  • Prepare journal entries and prepare reconciliations in accordance with US GAAP
  • Work closely with internal and external auditors
  • Assist in the preparation of schedules and financial statements for quarterly reviews and annual audits
  • Assist in the formulation of internal controls and policies to comply with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and best practices
  • Automate accounting processes as well as other business processes
  • Assist in researching accounting guidance and analyze how it affects the Company
  • Help with other accounting duties and ad-hoc requests as they come

What We’re Looking For On Your Resume


  • Master’s degree in Accounting and 2+ years of relevant experience OR Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a minimum of 4 years of accounting experience
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to remain flexible in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Able to work within a team environment effectively, as well as function independently
  • Great oral and written communication skills to interact with upper levels of management
  • Preferred CPA certification or working towards a CPA license
  • Experience with NetSuite, VBA macros, AI and other data analytics tools
  • Previous SaaS experience is a plus
