Are you ready to embrace the future with us?About the roleJob Type: Full-timeWe’re looking for a skilled Geosteering Engineer to support clients throughout the entire drilling process—from pre-drill planning and real-time geosteering to post-well analysis and reporting.
You’ll deliver technical presentations, lead trainings, and promote ROGII’s geosteering solutions both locally and internationally. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on geosteering experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for client success and innovation in the Oil & Gas industry.Responsibilities:
- Collaboration with the Client at all stages of the geosteering.
- Data collection and analysis, preparation of the preliminary geosteering model, development of the geosteering strategy and planned trajectory, and delivery of pre-drill presentation.
- Providing geosteering service in shifts during the landing and horizontal sections.
- Preparation and delivery of geosteering reports, providing recommendations for trajectory adjustments; after drilling, preparation of the final summary report; participation in post-drilling review meetings.
- Promotion of ROGII's geosteering technologies and services in Kazakhstan and abroad.
- Conducting technical presentations for clients.
- Providing technical support to users, assisting in mastering software.
- Leading training seminars on the use of company technologies, including the preparation of materials and courses.
- Carrying out marketing campaigns, promoting the company’s products on social media, and participating in webinars.
- Participation in exhibitions and technical conferences, writing articles.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree.
- 2+ years of geosteering experience.
- MWD & LWD or drilling operations experience is an advantage.
- Experience with international service companies is an advantage (e.g., Schlumberger, Baker Hughes, Halliburton, etc.).
- Fluent spoken and written English (minimum level: Advanced).
