Together with our partner MLA (Mitsubishi Logisnext Americas Inc.) we are expanding our commercial activities in the North American (NA) market and have ambitious goals.Jungheinrich is seeking a Head of Finance to lead and shape the commercial and financial landscape of its growing NA business. This newly created leadership role will serve as a key partner to regional and global stakeholders, with full oversight of finance, administration, and commercial strategy across multiple entities.

The ideal candidate is an experienced, entrepreneurial financial leader with a strong track record in transformation, change management, and international collaboration, particularly in industrial or manufacturing settings.

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Serves as a trusted advisor and provides support to the NA management team steering the business in the region; oversees financial and business administration activities for NA holdings, entities, and JVs
  • is a active, strategic partner to both local management and global headquarters in Hamburg supporting commercial aspects of strategy implementation and managing the growth business
  • supports business development through financial planning and strategic analysis
  • Lead financial planning, risk management, controlling, and process improvement accountable for regional finance and accounting structures aligned with group’s global controls and interests
  • Collaborate with global headquarters and regional stakeholders to ensure consistency and alignment ensuring integrity, transparency, compliance, and risk management across operations
  • Oversees finance teams across multiple entities and countries shaping the organizational setup and development of employees ensuring the right skillset necessary to support growth and transformation
  • Manages the commercial aspects of Jungheinrich’s partnership with distributor Mitsubishi Logisnext Americas (MLA)
  • Steers the management of commercial aspects in the sales and order management process

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS


  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • Extensive experience in regional CFO, global Finance Director, or senior controlling roles
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting within listed companies
  • Deep knowledge and experience across finance functions including tax, treasury, IT, M&A, P&L and commercial processes
  • Experience in the mechanical engineering, manufacturing, or intralogistics industry preferred
  • Strong communication, analytical, and strategic planning skills
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-entity structures and international teams
  • Fluency in English required; German language skills a plus
