About Our Search


Hord Coplan Macht is seeking an experienced and strategic Communications Manager to join our growing team in Baltimore. This is a high-impact role for a seasoned communicator who excels at storytelling, brand building, and integrated content strategy.You’ll lead the development and execution of firmwide communications—partnering with leadership, design sector teams, and marketing colleagues to elevate visibility, shape messaging, and grow our brand presence across platforms.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and lead a comprehensive communications strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Drive social media growth and engagement through campaigns and analytics.
  • Manage public relations and media outreach, including press releases and thought leadership.
  • Serve as editorial lead, creating and editing compelling content across web, email, and video.
  • Collaborate across teams to produce high-impact content and ensure timely, aligned communications.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs to inform strategy and performance.

Qualifications:


  • 10-15 years of communications experience, ideally in professional services or AEC.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and content strategy skills.
  • Proven track record in media relations and digital storytelling.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and social media/email platforms.
  • Strong understanding of digital trends, analytics, and engagement tools.

Maryland Statement


The projected base salary for this full-time position is $93,000 - $116,000. Hord Coplan Macht’s salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, as well as the individual’s education, experience, and skillsets. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of HCM’s total compensation package for employees.
