Contracts Administrator


Copper River Shared Services is seeking a Contracts Administrator to join our team in Chantilly, VA!  The Contracts Administrator is responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of agreements, including NDAs, teaming agreements, and subcontracts. This role supports contract setup and reporting through Deltek/Costpoint and assists in responding to audits and data calls. The Contracts Administrator ensures compliance with corporate policies and contractual requirements while working closely with internal teams to support effective contract execution and overall performance.

This position will be hybrid with 3 days a week onsite.


Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):


  • Draft, review and negotiate Non-Disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, Consulting Agreements, Reseller Agreements, and Subcontracts.
  • Assist with contract setup, reporting and document management using the Deltek/Costpoint system.
  • Respond to data calls and audits.
  • Implement contract department policies and procedures to meet corporate standards and ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with accounting, sales, and program management teams on contract-related matters.

Essential Job Requirements:


  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • Required Knowledge/Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in contracts administration.
  • Familiarity with Deltek/Costpoint for document and data management.
  • Working knowledge of government contracting principles and relevant regulations (e.g., FAR, DFARS, Service Contract Act, Davis-Bacon Act).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

  • Preferred Knowledge/Experience:
  • Experience in contract compliance review and analysis.
  • Background in construction, IT and/or healthcare contracts is a plus.
