Hilco Global is based in Northbrook, Illinois and has more than 900 professionals operating on five continents.Our growing team is seeking an Assistant Project Manager (APM) who will support the Fixture team in overseeing and executing projects from initiation to completion. This role involves coordinating project activities, tracking progress, managing schedules, and ensuring that project goals are achieved within scope, on time, and budget.
The APM collaborates closely with the Senior Project Manager (SPM), leadership, and other team members to support the execution of the project scope of work and deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all projects complete the scope of work that was agreed upon, on time
and within budget.
- Conduct and/or assign Due Diligence needs to the PMO supervisors and review
completed reports.
- Coordinate project meetings and organize/synthesize operating notes to develop
proforma/budgets and documentation for projects.
- Assist In the initial project proformas for review with SPM and the leadership team.
- Review the Scope of Work Documents (SOW's) for Field Projects.
- Schedule the PMO teams to projects and ensure the Project Master List is up to-date and accurate with the current schedule.
- Oversee the daily operations and execution of projects and review KPIs daily.
- Create and maintain daily reports for Restore for Retail that are tailored to each
project.
- Maintain an inventory of fixed assets and catalog electronically for clients.
- Communicate with engaged clients and the Home Office to assist the field PMO team
in completing items that fall outside our scope of work.
- Assist in the review and reconciliation of invoices including the verification of invoices
against the approved proforma.
- Assist SPM with maintaining a dynamic library of pitch materials, enabling quick
customization for client-specific scenarios and facilitating rapid response to newopportunities. Introduce new clients and be able to pitch services as needed.
Key Competencies:
- 2+ years of administrative and/or project management experience.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and handle time-sensitive assignments
effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with internal teams, clients, PMO teams, and customers.
- Proficiency in email, phone/meeting etiquette, and professional correspondence.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong Business analytical skills.
- Consistent follow-through and follow-up on tasks, projects and leadership requests.
- Ability to adjust to changes in tasks, deadlines, or priorities.
Reporting Relationship:
- This position reports to the Senior Project Manager.
Work Hours and Conditions:
- 40 hours per week minimum
- Up to 75% travel
- Nights/Weekends required on select projects

Hilco Global operates more than twenty specialized business units offering services that include asset valuation and appraisal, retail and industrial inventory acquisition and disposition, real estate, and strategic capital equity investments.In compliance with the Illinois Pay Transparency Law, the base salary range for this role in Illinois is between $80,000.00 and $90,000.00. This range does not include discretionary bonus or other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with this job.
