Knix is on the hunt for an experienced executive to lead Global Supply Chain on our growing team. They will be accountable for leading the strategy and execution of the supply chain operations of Knix’s business as it relates to logistics, warehousing, fulfillment, and distribution operations. The ideal candidate will apply a careful balance of analytical and business skills and will continuously push for improvements and operational efficiencies that will ultimately impact the bottom line and support the company’s growth strategies.

They will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to drive operational excellence day-to-day and for the long-term growth of the business.

STRATEGY, EXECUTION & EFFECTIVENESS


  • Establish, implement, and communicate the strategic direction of Knix’s logistics operations across all distribution channels.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and meet company goals while providing expertise and guidance on supply chain projects and systems.
  • Manage 3PL relationship and performanceDevelop and lead best in class Operations functions.
  • Drive operational efficiency and look for areas of opportunity for continuous improvement.
  • Analyze internal and external data, including marketing information, customer feedback, NPS, and SLAs to improve operational practices. 
  • Collaborate and work through the impact with various cross-functional team membersIdentity and resolve operational issues, constraints, and system failures – current or potential future ones.
  • Oversee operational compliance with relevant regulations and policies including FDA and international regulations.
  • Develop KPI’s and metrics to measure cost and efficiency. Perform analysis on a regular basis and identify any areas for investigation or improvement.
  • Plan, budget, and forecast against growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Creative, Brand, Finance, Design, and Merchandising to move departmental and overall business objectives forward.

FREIGHT FORWARDING


  • Lead the development of Knix long-term freight forwarding plan.
  • Work closely with existing freight forwarders to deliver improvements to service and cost.
  • Develop and manage freight forwarding KPIs.

WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT


  • Lead the development of Knix long-term supply chain plan focusing on a supply chain that can deliver on the next 3-5 years of growth 
  • Participate cross-functionally in the implementation of new packaging, software, or tools that would improve the business operations.
  • Develop and manage warehouse KPIs.
  • Execute best-in-class E-Commerce, Wholesale, and Retail operational practices from first contact to fulfilment, with consideration of the entire customer journey after the order has been placed.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities may be added during the course of employment.

Qualifications:


  • 7+ years’ work experience in Supply Chain in roles of increasing scope and responsibility across multiple channels of distribution.
  • Experience working within a retail or wholesale environment is an asset.
  • Experiencing managing the relationship and performance of a 3PL partner.
  • Solid operational skills including, problem solving, project management, and the ability to work and deliver projects independently, proactively and under pressure and changing conditions.
  • Commitment to accuracy, attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skillsStrong excel skills and experience working with data.
  • Experience working with Shopify and Netsuite, is essential, as well as WMS and PLM systems is an asset
