Infrastructure Support Engineer


Dark Wolf Solutions is seeking an Infrastructure Support Engineer to support a team responsible for developing, integrating, and maintaining the NRO’s Clairvoyant Framework on Unclassified, Secret, and Top-Secret SCI domains, including development, test, and operational environments.  This role focuses on maintaining and optimizing the underlying cloud infrastructure that hosts  the Clairvoyant Framework and its mission applications across multiple security domains.

Responsibilities:


  • Managing and optimizing cloud compute, storage, and network resources across Unclassified, Secret, and Top-Secret SCI  environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, rapid elasticity, resource pooling,  and cost-effectiveness. 
  • Providing technical and operational support for the Multi-INT DevOps Pipeline, including infrastructure resource management, security compliance,  and data integration activities. 
  • Implementing and maintaining hosting configurations (e.g., container patterns/templates) and collaborating on the secure transition of applications  and analytics from test to operational environments within the Framework. 
  • Monitoring system status continuously, triaging and addressing trouble tickets, and performing system administrative corrective actions to ensure the operational integrity and performance of the Framework's infrastructure.

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information  Technology, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT systems development with a focus on  cloud infrastructure, systems administration, or technical operations
  • Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms, particularly AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, ECS, Lambda, CloudFormation), including Amazon SC2S and  C2S environments. 
  • Proficiency with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and log management tools (e.g., Splunk, Elasticsearch + Logstash + Kibana (ELK) Stack). 
  • Understanding of modern architectural principles such as modularity, loose  coupling, bounded context, and system openness. 
  • Demonstrated experience supporting Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery  (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Ability to work in an Agile development environment.
  • US Citizenship and an active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and a successfully completed Counterintelligence Polygraph.

Desired Qualifications:


  • Prior experience supporting NRO or other Intelligence Community (IC) missions.
  • Knowledge of specific IC or DoD security standards and directives (e.g., ICD 503, NIST  SP 800 series). 
  • Familiarity with the I2SPO Multi-INT Makerspace (M2) or SageMakerSpace.
  • Participation in IC activities to improve and advance DevOps tools and processes.
  • Experience with hybrid cloud operations
