Position Summary


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Developer in Test (SDT) Manager with a strong background in test automation and quality assuranceto lead our SDT function in Indore. This role is critical to ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products that meet our client and business expectations. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in automation frameworks and architecture, agile testing practices, Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment / Continuous Testing processes, and has worked extensively with North American teams, possessing a strong understanding of global quality standards and cross-cultural collaboration.

What you will do


● Lead and mentor the SDT team. Provide coaching, career development support, and performance feedback. Foster a collaborative and high-trust team culture that values continuous learning and innovation. Play an active role in the recruiting and onboarding of additional team members.● Implement robust automation testing strategies and frameworks (Playwright, RestAssured, Selenium, K6, etc.)● Collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and product teams to ensure quality at every stage of the software development lifecycle.● Drive test automation initiatives across multiple projects and platforms● Review technical and functional requirements to ensure full test coverage.● Oversee the planning and execution of all SDT/QA activities, including sprint, regression, performance, integration, and UAT.● Ensure effective communication with North American stakeholders, including weekly sync-ups, status updates, and risk assessments.● Promote a culture of continuous improvement in testing practices and QA metrics.

Does this sound like you?


● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.● 8 - 12 years of experience in SDT/QA/Automation, with at least 3 years in a managerial or team lead role and 2+ years of performance testing experience.● Strong hands-on experience in test automation and SDT practices.● Proficient with automation tools and frameworks such as Playwright, RestAssured, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, or similar.● Proficient with at least one performance testing tool (K6 preferred)● Expertise in at least two programming languages (Java, JavaScript/Typescript preferred)● Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.● Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with a proven track record of working with US/Canada-based teams.● Experience working in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).● Interest in AI and willingness to explore AI-driven solutions to enhance performance and drive efficiencies

Preferred Qualifications


● Experience working in a product-based or SaaS company.● Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.● ISTQB or equivalent certification is a plus.
