We have a ton of fun while doing it. Position DetailsPosition Title: Print Production ManagerTeam: Print & Studio Production team, as part of the Creative Shared Services departmentReports to: Director, Print ProductionRole Description and ExpectationsAs a Print Production Manager, you bring creative concepts to life through expert print execution. You’ll consult with creative teams, define specifications, and collaborate with internal teams and external partners, including clients, printers, and vendors—to ensure seamless production.In Print Production, we frame our search and our requirements for the position from our guiding principles of Delivery, Chemistry, and Mastery.Delivery is our commitment to doing what we say we will, when we say we will. We identify the needs of Others and we meet them; ideally, we supersede them.

Key Accountabilities


  • Project Management: Oversee multiple print projects of varying complexity.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with creative teams, PMs, vendors, and suppliers to align on budgets, timelines, and production requirements.
  • Strategic Execution: Reverse engineer creative concepts into actionable production strategies.
  • Specifications & Estimates: Define detailed specs, source suppliers, and submit timely production estimates.
  • Budget & Timeline Management: Ensure on-time, within-budget delivery by managing scope, vendor relationships, and approvals.
  • Studio Coordination: Set up studio tasks, oversee deliverables, and approve proofs alongside art directors.
  • Vendor Relations: Identify and negotiate with suppliers as needed, issue purchase orders, and manage print approvals.
  • Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot challenges, proactively resolve issues, and ensure production quality.

Hard Skills


  • Excellent organization, strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent ability to manage and grow relationships with both internal and external partners
  • Knowledge of paper and print technologies, including litho, digital/POD, web and inline capabilities
  • Knowledge of digital pre-press
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, Acrobat Pro, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Education


  • BA/BS degree –Required
  • Certified Print Production accreditation is an asset, but not required

Experience


  • You have 10+ years of experience as a print production manager within an agency.
  • Pharma/Healthcare experience is an asset
  • Print and Lettershop experience –Preferred
  • Integrated Production experience is an asset
