About the Role
We are looking for a highly accomplished individual with a strong background in biology, chemistry, or medical sciences to support our Clinical Medical Assistant program as a grader and teaching assistant. In this role, you will grade student projects, provide meaningful feedback, and support our instructional team to ensure students succeed in their coursework. This is a fully remote, contract role with flexible hours, ideal for educators or advanced pre-med/medical students.
What You’ll Do
- Review and grade student assignments
- Provide clear feedback to students
- Communicate with instructors and students over email and other community tools
- Join weekly meetings to receive guidance and direction from the internal team at Stepful
This Job is for You if You Have
- 2+ years of experience teaching biology, chemistry, or a related medical course at the high school or college levelOR you are a pre-med or medical student in year 3 or beyond
- Availability to work 20–40 hours per week
- A passion for education and supporting student growth
- A commitment to timely, thorough, and empathetic communication
Bonus Points If
- You’ve worked as a Certified Medical Assistant
- You’ve taught in a digital or hybrid learning environment (Zoom, Canvas, etc.)
