As an Adaptive Transportation Network Company, the UZURV mobility platform serves individuals with disabilities, the elderly, and others who need assistance with independent transportation. UZURV’s platform combines rideshare with specialty credentialed, drug and alcohol-tested drivers to provide safe, reliable mobility and a higher level of care for the transportation disadvantaged.

A little bit about the role!


We’re looking for a strategic, innovative, and results-driven Recruiting Manager who is energized by the opportunity to build something new while staying close to the work. This person will lead the design and implementation of scalable recruiting processes and systems - including full life-cycle process design and ATS configuration - while also managing a light requisition load. A key focus of the role will be supporting high-volume hiring for our Operations division, along with corporate and tech functions.

The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven, people-first environment, and is passionate about inclusive hiring practices. This role requires someone who can build strong cross-functional partnerships, deliver engaging candidate experiences, and drive excellence in the recruiting function every day.

As our Recruiting Manager, you will be responsible for the following:


Leading Strategic Talent Initiatives


  • Developing and implementing a strategic recruitment roadmap that addresses current hiring challenges while proactively planning for future workforce needs.
  • Leveraging analytics, insights, and external trends to guide hiring strategies and inform decision-making.
  • Immersing in the business to understand internal strategies, goals, and pain points, and translating that understanding into effective recruiting approaches.
  • Using labor market knowledge to align talent acquisition with broader organizational and environmental trends.

Building and Executing Full Life-Cycle Recruiting


  • Owning a light requisition load and actively managing full-cycle recruiting for high-priority roles across Operations, Tech, and Corporate functions.
  • Designing and configuring recruiting systems and workflows, specifically with BambooHR, to enable scalable and efficient processes.
  • Building a recruiting team and leading efforts to attract, review, interview, assess, and negotiate offers across departments.
  • Developing robust and proactive candidate pipelines through networking, sourcing, and community engagement.
  • Understanding skill needs in the context of organizational strategy, identifying transferable skills and alternative talent markets, and hiring for potential.

Cultivating Strong Relationships


  • Building trust-based partnerships with internal stakeholders and serving as a strategic advisor on hiring and market trends.
  • Establishing and strengthening relationships with external talent sources, especially in local and community-based networks.
  • Creating an inclusive, people-first candidate experience that reflects UZURV’s mission and values.

We are excited about you because…


  • You have 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including both high-volume, corporate, and technical roles.
  • You’ve led and developed small recruiting teams and understand how to motivate and coach others.
  • You’re excited to “build the engine” and fine-tune systems, not just run them.
  • You’re confident in your ability to use data and systems to improve outcomes - especially in high-growth or scaling environments.
  • You’re a clear communicator and cross-functional collaborator.
  • You’re adaptable, resourceful, and don’t mind rolling up your sleeves when needed.
  • You have experience with tools like BambooHR and Google Suite.
