What You’ll Do
On any given week you might…
- Invent & prototype. Explore bleeding-edge LLMs and multimodal models to de-risk new persona features and insights workflows.
- Ship production code. Own services & pipelines in TypeScript, Python, and Rust that ingest data, fine-tune models, and serve low-latency inferences.
- Raise the quality bar. Design automated eval suites and human-in-the-loop loops that keep our personas accurate, safe, and bias-checked.
- Set foundations. Make the calls on infra, tooling, CI/CD, and observability so we scale from thousands to millions of personal interactions per day.
- Collaborate cross-functionally. Pair with product, design, and GTM teams to turn fuzzy user problems into lovable AI features.
- Mentor & recruit. Be a force-multiplier for junior engineers and help hire the next five rock-stars on the AI team.
Signs This Role Is For You
- You have tinkered with LLM's, Agents, MCP's. If you have not built any projects using LLM's this role is not for you.
- You’ve shipped production LLM or generative-AI products, not just hack-day demos.
- You’re equally comfortable prompt-crafting, fine-tuning, and profiling GPU memory.
- You sweat over good abstractions and DX, but value shipping over pontificating.
- Talking to early customers energizes you; unknowns and ambiguity don’t scare you.
- You love teaching, writing docs, and leveling-up everyone around you.
- Hands-on with cursor, claude code and other productivity tools
Bonus Points
- Prior experience with RAG architectures, vector DBs, or streaming embeddings.
- Track record navigating enterprise security / SOC2 / GDPR for AI workloads.
- Open-source contributions or published research in NLP / Gen-AI.
- Comfort spinning up infra on AWS, GCP, or Azure with Terraform or Pulumi.
- You’ve grown an engineering org or led a notable open-source community.
