To support our rapid growth, we are seeking a driven and strategic Wholesale Account Manager to lead and grow our national retail partnerships and online registry business. In this role, you will be responsible for building and managing key relationships with major retail accounts such as Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s, Crate & Barrel, and others. You will also oversee our presence on registry platforms including Zola.com and Joy.com.The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, data-driven sales professional who thrives on relationship-building, is a strong cross-functional collaborator, and has a deep understanding of premium retail dynamics.On the day to day this role includes order management, internal process building, creating relevant reporting for accounts to drive reorders, creating training and store visit schedules to drive engagement, coordinating/ updating merchandising signage and events, and building a repeatable pathway to sell-through across national retail partners.
This position reports to the Vice President of Wholesale and supports other sales leaders and channels requiring a strong collaborator and clear communicator. Key Responsibilities
- Account Management: Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with key wholesale partners to drive sales growth and brand presence across national retailers.
- Retail Strategy Development: Develop and execute sell-in and sell-through strategies tailored to each retail partner, ensuring alignment with company goals and market trends.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor account performance, generate sales reports, and identify opportunities to optimize inventory, merchandising, and promotional activities.
- Registry Partnerships: Manage and grow our online registry business with platforms like Zola and Joy, ensuring seamless integration of product listings, promotional strategies, and customer experience.
- Forecasting & Planning: Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Finance, Marketing) to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and support new product launches.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Serve as the key liaison between wholesale partners and internal departments to ensure consistent execution of brand standards and marketing initiatives.
- Market Insights & Competitor Analysis:Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to help shape product and channel strategies.
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in wholesale account management, with demonstrated success managing national retail accounts and/or online registries.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills; highly proficient in Excel and sales performance tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.).
- Strategic thinker with a proven ability to identify growth opportunities and execute effective action plans.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable presenting to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel for tradeshows and industry events as well as customer openings and trainings as needed (up to 40%)
