Our mission is to make waste & recycling easy to manage for managers and brokers. Our products unlock the data lost in invoices, contracts, sensors, and other data sources. This information is used to empower people and businesses to make ideal operational decisions in real time.To support our growth we are currently recruiting a Process Automation Engineer.Position OverviewAre you passionate about harnessing the power of AI to revolutionize business operations in a traditionally overlooked industry? We're seeking a visionary Process Automation Engineer to lead the charge in transforming our workflows through intelligent automation.
In this pivotal role, you'll collaborate directly with business leaders to identify opportunities where AI agents and automation can alleviate manual workloads, enhancing efficiency and productivity. Your technical prowess will enable you to design and implement these AI-driven solutions independently, seamlessly integrating them into our existing systems. This is more than just a technical position; it's an opportunity to be at the forefront of re-imagining core workflows in a critical industry, driving change and delivering tangible results for customers. If you're eager to make a significant impact and shape the future of how waste & recycling is managed at scale, we invite you to join our dynamic team.Typical Scenarios You’ll Tackle
Process Deconstruction & AutomationWork alongside team members & customers to take existing multi-modal workflows and deconstruct these into component activities.
Cross-System Data Handling:Handle data found across databases, APIs, MCP servers, email inboxes, audio files, images,or files. You’ll build automations that gather, standardize, and route this data efficiently to an output task.Communications Categorization and Triage:Emails, phone calls, and other communications come in constantly. Your job will include designing agent-based systems that automatically categorize and triage these messages, ensuring everything lands in the right queue, with initial drafts or responses prepared for human review. You’ll use foundational model knowledge and advanced prompting techniques to make these automations smart—not just rule-based.Extract, Adjust, and Deliver:Sometimes, clients need data pulled from systems, tweaked to their needs, and sent back in the exact format they want. You’ll build workflows that handle these pull-adjust-compile cycles, outputting reports or data files in whatever layout the client demands—no manual cleanup required. These are not theoretical examples; they’re the kinds of problems you’ll solve week in, week out. If you like your work to have a clear before-and-after impact, you’ll fit right in.Key Responsibilities
