Job Summary
We’re looking for an Associate Director, Performance Marketing to own and evolve Libsyn’s paid acquisition and demand generation efforts. This role will lead the development and execution of organic and paid and media strategies across Google, Meta, YouTube, programmatic, DSPs, and more. You'll also breathe new life into Libsyn’s affiliate program, partner with Sales to drive high-quality podcast advertising leads, and collaborate with Product and Content Marketing to optimize traffic conversion.This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution: you're just as comfortable presenting CAC:LTV trends to the executive team as you are building campaign structures in Google Ads or briefing a designer on creative iterations.
You’ll lead a team of three and play a critical role in Libsyn’s next stage of growth.
How You Will Make an Impact
- Develop and execute the playbook for content marketing at Libsyn in order to drive more qualified traffic to Libsyn via SEO, AISEO, and other strategies.
- Own the end-to-end paid media strategy to drive efficient acquisition of new podcast hosting customers and advertising leads.
- Actively manage and optimize campaigns across platforms including Google Search & Display, YouTube, Meta, programmatic networks, and emerging DSPs.
- Lead the management and growth of Libsyn’s Affiliate Program, including strategy, partner outreach, and incentive design.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing to maximize the conversion of inbound traffic through targeted landing pages, messaging, and creative testing.
- Manage and mentor a team of three, fostering a culture of experimentation, accountability, and measurable impact.
- Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics including CAC, LTV, ROAS, and attribution across customer segments and channels, supporting presentations for both senior leadership and the board of directors.
- Evaluate and onboard new tools, vendors, and platforms to strengthen performance marketing capabilities.
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in performance marketing or growth marketing, ideally in a SaaS or media company
- Demonstrated knowledge of SEO, Generative Search, and other organic and content-marketing
- Proven success owning multi-channel paid acquisition programs with clear CAC targets.
- Hands-on experience with platforms including Google Ads (Search, YouTube, Display), Meta, Amazon; DSP + other experience a plus
- Familiarity with affiliate or partner marketing programs
- Strong analytical mindset with expertise in campaign measurement, cohort tracking, and A/B testing
- Experience managing and developing high-performing team members
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
Even Better If You Have
- Familiarity with podcasting, creator tools, or the digital audio advertising ecosystem
- Working knowledge of HubSpot, GA4, Looker Studio, or similar for reporting
- Experience building revenue attribution models
