Health Care for the Homeless is seeking a Donor Relations Specialist to play a key role in advancing our private-sector fundraising efforts. As part of a collaborative Development team, you will engage with a portfolio of 500–700 donors, helping to strengthen relationships and increase support for our transformative programs.
In this role, you will:
- Manage and grow relationships with individual donors
- Create customized donor communications and stewardship plans
- Support giving campaigns alongside development committee members
- Solicit gifts and maintain prompt donor acknowledgment
- Maintain accurate records in our CRM (Salesforce)
- Assist with donor mailings, events, and engagement efforts
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has 2+ years’ experience in donor relations, customer service, or fundraising
- Is organized, communicative, and action-oriented
- Possesses strong writing and interpersonal skills
- Can manage multiple projects and deadlines with grace
- Brings integrity, professionalism, and compassion to every interaction
Preferred qualifications:
- Associate’s degree (or equivalent experience)
- Experience with Salesforce or other fundraising software
