Our world-class team includes experts in all aspects of spacecraft subsystems design, development, and test, on-orbit operations, and safety.We have an exciting opportunity for a Subcontract Administrator to join our current Supply Chain team supporting the entire headquarters organization and our current and future customers.

Responsibilities:


  • Source and procure specialized goods and services.
  • Own contractual management for the supplier.
  • Responsible for source selection from contract proposal to execution phases.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with key stakeholders such as legal, contracts, engineering, quality, supplier development, planning, operations, program and end-users.
  • Prepare bid packages, analyze and evaluate proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions, selects or recommend subcontractors, write awards, and administer resulting subcontracts.
  • Maintain, negotiate and coordinate additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts.
  • In conjunction with quality organization, evaluate and monitor supplier quality and reliability, as well as supplier ability to support required delivery schedules.
  • Identify strategies and opportunities to reduce cost, improve efficiency and manage risk through strategic and targeted negotiations.
  • Manage performance of subcontracts, ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) requirements, and all public law requirements as well as company (and business) policies and procedures.

Requirements:


This position is posted at multiple levels, and candidates may be considered at different levels based on experience and business needs. We reserve the right to consider candidates at any level for which this position has been advertised. 

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Procurement Business, or a related field.
  • Experience in purchasing and subcontract management, including bidding, evaluation, contract execution, pricing negotiations, and commercial strategy.
  • Proven track record in cost reduction initiatives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey procurement strategies and commercial solutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement systems.
  • Understanding of FFP, T&M and Cost-Plus type subcontracts

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
