Senior Business Analysis Consultant

Kaizen Analytix LLC, an analytics products and consulting services firm that gives clients unmatched speed to value through analytics solutions and actionable business insights, is seeking candidates for a Senior Business Analysis Consultant for our Consulting Services team.A Senior Consultant will have the opportunity to work independently to exercise strong analytical and critical thinking skills, solve complex problems, and communicate your findings. You will be responsible for leading workstreams or projects to successfully delivery.

• Structuring ambiguous business problems and supporting data analysis, data visualization, and project management• Building the foundation for the project by capturing the business context: the problem, current state, desired future state, business needs, and success criteria• Developing a strong understanding of business requirements; working with business users and technical teams to define technical and process requirements• Collecting and reviewing available information to make data-driven business decisions and recommendations• Conducting statistical and financial analysis• Deploying project management methodologies/software development approaches and defining the appropriate deliverables throughout the project• Leading / owning workstream deliveries• Collaborating with the client team and cross-functional Kaizen team members including data scientists and software developers• Working under the guidance of senior project leadership and analytics professionals

• Work both independently and collaboratively with a team• Leverage a “business-first” mindset across functional and industry topics to drive business transformations and deliver analytical solutions• Design, develop, and test dashboards with advanced functionality and UX (Power BI, Tableau, other)• Facilitate presentations and working sessions (5 to 20 people) using techniques to help define project scope, requirements, and presenting analytical findings• Navigate the project team, IT personnel, and business sponsors through ambiguity in an effective manner• Ensure change control and change management procedures are followed within the project team• Understand and assess change requests to assess overall impact• Cultivate effective relationships and credibility with client partners

• Experience: 5+ years of related work experience in business intelligence, business analytics, management consulting, or related field is preferred.• Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Masters of Analytics or MBA is preferred• Core Skills: Strong communication, analytical and presentation skills, Statistical and financial analysis skills, mindset of “own it all the way”, project management & knowledge of agile methodology• Tools: Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications; Good working knowledge of Data Visualization tools (Tableau and Power BI preferred); Familiarity with SQL• Experience with Alteryx is a plus• Understanding of the automotive industry is preferred; experience in automotive parts or engineering is a plus
