This role is ideal for someone passionate about software development and excited about working with a variety of languages and frameworks to develop scalable and high-performance applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and enhance our analytics platform using languages such as Scala, Java, or Python.
- Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Review and contribute to technical discussions to improve team processes.
- Learn and implement new technologies as needed to meet project requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.
- Document development processes, code changes, and technical information.
- Contribute to the improvement of our deployment processes and toolchain.
Requirements
- 1 to 2 years of professional experience in software development in a product development organization.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Scala, Java, or Python.
- Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
- Knowledge of relational databases (especially Postgres) and SQL.
- Familiarity with multiple languages/technologies (e.g., Spark, Langchain, Elixir) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
