We’re hiring a Vice President of Operations for a high-growth, PE-backed healthcare MSO. This is built for someone who’s proven themselves in a PE-backed PPM, MSO, or ASC—and is hungry for more. You’ll report directly to the CEO and take charge of day-to-day operations while building the systems that make scale possible.
The Role
You're the one who sees the gaps, fixes them fast, and makes the machine run. You’ll own execution across people, process, and performance. You’re the CEO’s right hand on everything inside the business.
What You’ll Own
- Clinic Operations: Drive performance across sites. Coach clinic leaders, fix what’s broken, standardize what works.
- SOPs & Scale Playbook: Build scalable processes that stick. Roll them out across current and future sites.
- Team Management: Lead a lean ops team. Hire, train, and manage as we grow.
- Integration Work: Plug in new acquisitions—handle onboarding, cultural integration, and process alignment.
- Board-Ready Reporting: Build dashboards, track KPIs, and prep materials that give the CEO and investors clear insight.
- Performance Infrastructure: Own how the team is evaluated—develop review processes and incentive models that tie to outcomes.
Who You Are
We’re not looking for a lifer from a hospital system. We want the one who’s been in the trenches at a PE-backed MSO, seen what good looks like, and is ready to step up. You’ve got range—hands-on enough to execute, sharp enough to build systems.
- 2–5 years in operations at a PE-backed MSO, PPM, or ASC
- Experience integrating new sites post-acquisition
- Built SOPs, managed KPIs, and led process improvement work
- Some team management or skip-level leadership experience
- Comfortable with fast pace, ambiguity, and high expectations
- Bonus: exposure to budget ownership, P&L inputs, incentive structures
