What you’ll do as an Information Security Analyst
You will work on the IT Engineering team. Our department owns SaaS, IDP, Endpoint (Windows & Mac) and Information Security at Beyond. Your time in this role will be split between projects and security reviews. You will follow SOP’s to review security related events and surface suspicious incidents for Senior Engineers to investigate. You will perform data gathering and assessments related to access logs and data movement. You will support our Data Loss Prevention and Insider Risk mitigation activities.
Skill Requirements and Responsibilities
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a Cyber Security or IT role
- Curious and excited to learn
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency
- Self-starter with the ability to prioritize between many ongoing projects
- Knowledge of cybersecurity and privacy principles
- Experience reviewing user activity and system logs
- SIEM utilization, building queries, dashboards and alerts
- Assessing the effectiveness of security controls, and analyzing activity logs for potential threats
- Documenting security breaches and other metrics
Desirable Skills
- Experience with Platform and Endpoint DLP Tooling
- Experience with eDiscovery tools
- Knowledge of DEX/DEM tooling
- Scripting knowledge utilizing Python, Powershell or Bash
- SASE/SSE Experience
- Zero Trust Security architecture fundamentals
- General awareness of endpoint security tools and SecOps work, DLP, SIEM, EDR, Vulnerability management
The ideal candidate for this position is agile and capable of quickly learning new tools and technologies. You’ll need to be capable of diving deep when required, but also context-switching frequently depending on business needs. We want quick learners, someone that can grasp complex technical concepts and translate that tech into measurable business outcomes.#LI-SB1The base annual salary range is listed below. This role is eligible for additional incentives, including an annual bonus.Base Salary Range$85,000—$100,000 USD
