Senior Product Manager, Risk

We’re seeking a highly motivated Senior Product Manager for a key role within our Risk & Compliance team.  This position is focused on developing critical infrastructure and services that safeguard Melio's users and deter fraudulent activity, driving both customer confidence and Melio’s growth. You’ll be a great fit if you like to move fast, challenge existing assumptions and have a strong background in data, product management and current software technologies. 

Qualifications:


  • Over 3 years of Product Management experience. Ideally in risk, fraud, identity, management or similar fields.
  • Strong analytical skills,  fluent with data tools (E.g.  Snowflake, Datadog, Amplitude).
  • Track record of effective cross-functional work and stakeholder managementProven ability to ship complex products in regulated environmentsStrong written and verbal communication skills and ability to manage partner relationships. (Hebrew & English).
  • Empathy for both customers and frontline operatorsComfortable working at both the strategy and execution level.
  • Bonus points: Deep understanding of fraud vectors (e.g., ATO, synthetic identity, friendly fraud, phishing). 
  • Hands on experience working with data as an analyst, data scientist or engineer Familiarity with risk scoring models, fraud rules management, or KYC/AML systems

A day in the life and how you’ll make an impact:


  • Analyze fraud trends and data to identify vulnerabilities, develop mitigation strategies, and enhance fraud decision systems.
  • Collaborate with engineering, data science, and operations teams to design, build, and deploy effective risk and fraud prevention features.
  • Work with the analytics team to develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for risk and fraud prevention efforts, ensuring alignment with performance targets.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and partners, including regulators, payment processors, and internal teams, regarding product strategy and progress.

The Risk and Compliance department safeguards Melio's platform and reputation against malicious entities. This department is responsible for establishing controls to protect Melio, identifying potential risks, and providing guidance on mitigating or resolving them. Furthermore, the department ensures that all platform users and their activities adhere to compliance standards. This department functions as a critical protective measure for the company, ensuring Melio is shielded from fraudulent and abusive practices.
