About the Role
Envita Interventional Radiology is seeking a dedicated and compassionate CT Technologist to join our innovative and mission-driven team. The CT Technologist plays a vital role in supporting our Interventional Radiology department by performing high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Key Responsibilities
- Operate CT equipment to perform high-quality imaging procedures under the direction of a radiologist or medical provider.
- Support image-guided interventional radiology procedures in collaboration with physicians and surgical teams.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort by utilizing safe patient handling techniques and compassionate care practices.
- Administer contrast media as needed, recognizing and responding to any adverse reactions in accordance with emergency protocols.
- Act as a resource to patients and clinical staff by offering education and guidance regarding CT procedures.
- Perform routine quality assurance checks on CT equipment and coordinate service or maintenance as necessary.
- Accurately document imaging procedures, patient information, and quality control testing per protocol.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
- Support departmental operations and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Active ARRT Certification in Radiography (RT(R)) and Computed Tomography (CT)
- Arizona Medical Radiologic Technologist license in Radiography (CRT) and CT (CTCT)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in interventional radiology
- 2+ years of CT experience in a clinical or hospital setting
- Passion for patient-centered care and integrative medicine
