Position: Training Specialist/Tier 1 FaaS (OCFO)
Location: National Capital Region (NCR)Key Responsibilities:
- Provide functional support for the accounting system, including help desk assistance and resolution of minor end-user issues.
- Develop and implement end-user training programs, including live sessions, reference materials, and job aids.
- Create and maintain training schedules, agendas, desk-level guides, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Deliver training on financial and business systems, emphasizing user roles and task execution processes.
- Develop and sustain financial reporting databases within the FaaS environment.
- Train and support staff on financial reporting tools, best practices, and compliance requirements.
- Support integration and data flow between FAMIS, ADVANA, and other business systems (Preferred).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve end-user adoption and system efficiency.
Job requirements:Clearance Required: Active Secret Clearance
- Bachelor’s Degree, plus 10 years of financial management experience in a Working Capital Fund (WCF) DoD environment, or 5 years of DoD experience and any of the following degrees/certifications:
- Master’s in Business Administration (MBA)
- Certified Defense Finance Manager (CDFM)
- Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM)
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
- Experience in accounting operations management is desirable.
