Position: Training Specialist/Tier 1 FaaS (OCFO)
Location: National Capital Region (NCR)Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide functional support for the accounting system, including help desk assistance and resolution of minor end-user issues.
  • Develop and implement end-user training programs, including live sessions, reference materials, and job aids.
  • Create and maintain training schedules, agendas, desk-level guides, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Deliver training on financial and business systems, emphasizing user roles and task execution processes.
  • Develop and sustain financial reporting databases within the FaaS environment.
  • Train and support staff on financial reporting tools, best practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Support integration and data flow between FAMIS, ADVANA, and other business systems (Preferred).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve end-user adoption and system efficiency.

Job requirements:Clearance Required: Active Secret Clearance

  • Bachelor’s Degree, plus 10 years of financial management experience in a Working Capital Fund (WCF) DoD environment, or 5 years of DoD experience and any of the following degrees/certifications:
  • Master’s in Business Administration (MBA)
  • Certified Defense Finance Manager (CDFM)
  • Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM)
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.

  • Experience in accounting operations management is desirable.
