What We Are Looking For
Persado is looking for a high-energy Senior People Operations Specialist to join our EMEA HR team, based in Athens! You will play a key role in supporting our global workforce, enhancing the employee experience, and driving operational excellence across HR processes and programs.
What You Will Work On
- Own and manage payroll and benefits administration for EU and UK employees, serving as the subject matter expert on related matters
- Manage new hire onboarding and employee offboarding for EU & UK employees
- Maintain and update data within our HRIS and across other systems, ensuring a high degree of accuracy
- Advise and support managers on HR policies, employee relations, performance management and day to day matters
- Act as a point of contact for escalated employee queries or issues, ensuring resolution with empathy and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulations; stay current on legal updates and proactively adapt internal policies
- Lead audits and internal reviews to ensure adherence to labor laws, privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR), and company standards
- Design, implement, and launch People Programs in collaboration with with the People Team (e.g. Performance Management Reviews and Employee Engagement Survey)
- Provide day-to-day HR support to EMEA employees, both in-person and remotely, ensuring timely and effective service delivery
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, preferably combined with a Master’s Degree in HR
- 3-5 years proven experience in HR operations functions within a multinational or fast-paced tech environment
- Experience working with employee benefits and payroll
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulatory requirements
- Experienced with BambooHR, Lattice or similar systems will be considered a plus
- Self-assured and comfortable being challenged and in presenting rationale for change
- Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly and effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines
- Fluency in written and spoken Greek and English language
