Are you ready to embrace the future with us?About the roleFull-time - Technical Analyst will join our team in our client's office in Macaé, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to provide users with outstanding technical support and training for our products, including StarSteer. The ideal candidate should have a passion for providing technical demos and training for our clients.
We are looking for a client-focused individual who works well in a fast-paced environment and who has a technical background in the geosciences.Responsibilities:
- Provide Technical sales & workflow presentations to clients (online and in person)
- On-site support and multi-day training with clients, with some travel required
- Customer Technical Support (phone, email), including possible calls during evenings and weekends
- Supporting our sales team with engaging technical demonstrations
- Tracking of clients’ bugs and new feature requests
Requirements:
- Residence in Macaé, Brazil, is a mandatory requirement for this role
- 4-year degree in Earth Sciences or Engineering
- Strong knowledge of drilling operations and operational geology workflows
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken in English; experience creating and delivering presentations
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Google Docs
Additional beneficial experience:
- Working knowledge of Python
- Intermediate to Advanced ability with StarSteer geosteering software is an asset
- Experience with geoscience software (Petrel, Kingdom, GeoGraphix, etc)
- Computer science and/or IT troubleshooting experience
- Customer service experience
