Your Role
As the Partnership Director you will be responsible for developing new relationships and expanding existing partnerships at CEA CAPA. The Partnership Director will be a target-driven strategic thinker who will collaborate with institutional partners, and CEA CAPA teams, to strengthen relationships and increase study abroad enrollment through strategic planning and identifying new opportunities for growth in partnership with Institutional Relations leadership.
What You'll Do

- Assess new business opportunities, develop account plans, and take ownership for growth strategies at new partner institutions.
- Reach sales targets through the cultivation of new mutually beneficial partnerships and identifying new opportunities with existing partners.
- Develop expertise in CEA CAPA’s standard, internship, direct enroll, and custom program offerings.
- Elevate organizational brand by being an active contributor in industry conferences and committees to showcase CEA CAPA as a thought leader in the field of Education Abroad.
- Collaborate with Regional Director teams to explore and assess new opportunities at institutions within assigned territories.
- Strategically leverage marketing tools to increase brand awareness to drive student and partner demand for CEA CAPA programs.
- Collaborate with CEA CAPA staff (both domestic & international) to remain abreast of CEA CAPA policy development, new programs and procedures, and industry trends.
- Bring critical and creative lens to generate new and innovative ideas to help the organization achieve its short- and long-term goals.
- Role requires 40% travel to build and nurture new partnerships and revenue pipelines.
Starting Salary: $70,000-$80,000 + incentive plan
What Makes A Great Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Master’s Degree preferred
- Between 5-7 years work experience in a higher education or study abroad setting
- At least 3 years in a consultative business development relationship building capacity
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, access, and inclusion efforts
- Salesforce or other CRM experience preferred
- Prior travel, study, work, or volunteer abroad experience preferred
- Prior experience planning, booking and executing travel itineraries, both domestic and occasional international
- Self-starter mentality with comfort and confidence working remotely, as well as collaborating across Institutional Relations team and multiple departments to meet established target-based goals
