This position will support Head of Investor Relations in building out a best-in-class investor relations program. This role plays a critical part in cultivating investor confidence and belief in Baylor Genetics’ vision and strategy for delivering shareholder value. The Sr. Manager will build and maintain relationships with investment community and serve as a key resource to internal stakeholders and a strategic contributor to the company’s planning and communications functions.
Qualifications and Experience:
· Education:
o Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, communications, or a related field. MBA preferred
· Experience:
o 7+ years of experience in capital markets (PE, Investment Banking, Equity Research…) and investor relationso Strong understanding of healthcare markets, financial statements and analysis, and technology trends.o Proven communication and presentation skills. Can distill complex financial and business information into clear and succinct messages.o Effective relationships building skills and can quickly establish trust and rapport with internal and external stakeholders
Duties and Responsibilities:
o Serve as a key point of contact for Baylor Genetics’ equity and debt investors to enhance their understanding of the company’s financial results, business growth initiatives and long-term strategyo Support fundraising efforts by providing financial insights, projection, due diligence material requests, investor presentationo Contribute to the planning and management of investor events (conferences, road shows, investor meetings, briefing materials, press releases, etc.o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare earnings commentary, disclosures, and other investor-facing materials.o Analyze industry/market trends and perform competitor analysis.
Communicate relevant insights to the IR team and leadershipo Help build and lead a high-performing IR teamo Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and accountability
