Role Summary: 


Fore Bio is a next-generation precision oncology company focused on the development of plixorafenib, an investigational, novel, small-molecule, next-generation, orally available selective inhibitor of mutated BRAF. The Sr. Director Commercial Strategy & Brand Lead performs and oversees business-driven analyses that generate in-depth customer-focused insights and identifies key business opportunities aimed at maximizing the commercial potential. They will serve as the functional lead for forecasting, and lead commercial preparations for launch.

The Senior Director will work with the cross-functional project team providing commercial & strategic insights as well as supporting the Sr VP with deliverables across Business Development, Corporate Strategy, and Commercial.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


:


  • Lead commercial launch readiness activities (branding, positioning, key message development, etc.)
  • Market/Landscape analysis, primary market research, HCP/HCO Opportunity analysis, situation analysis and SWOT analytics, advanced analytics including promotional response and mix modeling, territory opportunity analytics, ROI assessments, and customer assessments. 
  • Direct integrated market analysis and commercial assessments to identify current and future trends within key disease settings, including analysis of disease management, unmet needs, competitive landscape, demand forecasts and NPVs.
  • Own competitive intelligence and relative positioning of related and competitors’ assets
  • Lead the development of performance KPIs to clearly and quickly diagnose brand performance and assess strategic and tactical plans to drive greater business results 
  • Lead assessment of data quality and gaps, align business rules, and secure data sources that meet business needs
  • Serve as forecasting and analytics subject matter expert ensuring objectivity and accuracy to achieve business objectives
  • Perform data analysis to gain a deep understanding of business opportunities and challenges
  • Work closely with both Commercial, Supply Chain, and Finance leadership to build, analyze, and communicate accurate short-term and long-range demand and revenue forecasts. 
  • Business Development: As needed, support key business development and licensing activities through secondary data analytics.  
  • Effectively collaborate across cross function project team to ensure organizational commitment and alignment.
  • Executive Support: Play a key role in the preparation of insights and analysis to support executive level presentations, including quarterly business reviews, board presentations, and budget reviews.
  • Travel up to 10% time, based upon program needs

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: 


  • Undergraduate degree in life sciences required, higher degree (MS, MBA, Ph.D. or Pharm.D.) preferred
  • At least 12 years of experience in life sciences industry
  • Oncology experience is strongly desirable and early-to-mid-stage biotech experiences are strongly preferred.
  • In-line marketing experience & oncology launch experience strongly preferred
  • Advanced understanding of scientific and clinical data and a passion for staying abreast of the latest advancements in targeted oncology therapies
  • Deep qualitative and quantitative expertise, including conducting primary market research and developing market models, is strongly preferred.
  • Strong scientific knowledge and clinical acumen; able to engage, understand and translate science into commercial insights and strategic recommendations
  • Strong understanding of spreadsheet modeling and ability to develop financial models
  • Highly proficient in using PowerPoint and related tools to develop, update and maintain various documents including strategy documents, board presentations and external pitch materials
  • Energetic, team oriented, self-motivating individual with strong analytical and solid understanding of business strategy
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to influence decision making and manage stakeholders
  • Proven ability to effectively work with project teams in a matrix environment
  • Well organized with excellent follow-up abilities and able to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Highly motivated, decisive, and results-oriented individual with the flexibility and creativity to excel in and contribute to a rapidly growing company.
