POSITION SUMMARY:
The Associate Manager, Digital Marketing will play a pivotal role within the E-Commerce team, focusing on driving revenue for assigned brand(s) through a comprehensive and integrated Digital Marketing strategy. This individual will oversee the execution of social media marketing initiatives and collaborate with subject matter experts on strategies for search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), and other paid channels. Additionally, they will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Merchandising, Creative, Finance, Customer Insights, and Web Production.
A strong analytical mindset is essential, as this position is responsible for reporting and analytics tied to digital marketing channels.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Take direct ownership of demand, margin, and ROI across digital channels, including paid search, affiliates, display advertising, and social media. Implement strategies to optimize performance and drive sustainable growth.
- Oversee the daily email marketing calendar and lead a robust testing agenda, including regular A/B tests. Utilize data-driven insights to enhance email effectiveness and reporting.
- Manage the digital marketing budgeting process and conduct monthly, weekly, and daily forecasting and reporting for key financial metrics. Develop quantitative and data-driven business recommendations based on thorough analysis.
- Collaborate with external agencies to enhance key channels, including paid search, display, social media, and affiliates. Review agency performance reports and conduct internal analyses to identify improvement opportunities.
- Assist with ad hoc SEO tasks, collaborating with the SEO team to ensure best practices are implemented and project goals are met efficiently.
- Foster strong partnerships with Merchandising, Creative, Finance, Customer Insights, and Web Production teams to align marketing strategies and initiatives with overall business objectives.
- Utilize analytical rigor to provide actionable insights from digital marketing performance data. Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, supporting data-informed decision-making.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging digital marketing technologies, leveraging insights to drive innovation and enhance marketing strategies.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field
- 2-3 years of related experience in digital direct response marketing, marketing effectiveness analysis or e-commerce site planning and merchandising
- Previous experience in digital marketing or e-commerce at a fast-paced DTC or retail company is a plus
- Strong analytical skills; proficiency in Microsoft Excel including dashboard creation/formatting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and team-working skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple objectives within a fast-paced, changing environment
- Aptitude to think strategically but act tactically
- High level of organization coupled with attention to detail
- Experience with Adobe Analytics/Omniture
- Expertise with Excel; experience with basic macros and ReportBuilder preferred
- Knowledge Epsilon and Custora is a plus
