About the role:


WorkOS is continuing to build our Developer Success Engineering team.As WorkOS is a technical product made by developers, for developers, Developer Success Engineers are critical to the customer experience. You will be on WorkOS’s front line, talking with developers, building developer relationships, and making the developer experience the best it can be.You will be the expert on our products and main point of contact between our engineers and developers (customers). You’ll help developers get unblocked and succeed by providing guidance, debugging support, and integration advice.This role is best suited for someone who is technically-minded, empathetic, passionate, and loves solving problems under pressure.

What you'll do:


  • Work with our users daily via Slack, email, and Zoom
  • Understand and be an expert in WorkOS’s products and codebase, supporting technologies such as SAML/OIDC, REST APIs, and modern frontend frameworks
  • Provide technical advice to developers on best practices for integrating with our API
  • Act as a hard + soft skill mentor and escalation point to junior members of the team
  • Troubleshoot any issues that arise from the developer and diagnose any blockers
  • Engage customers for feedback to help shape product development
  • Work cross-functionally within the company
  • Working hours: 9am - 5pm US ET or 9am - 5pm US PT

What you have already accomplished:


  • 2+ years experience in a technical customer-facing support role for a developer-focused product
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Passion for educating and breaking down complicated concepts
  • Quick learner and relentlessly inquisitive

The annual US base salary falls within the range of $135-150k USD. This range does not encompass the full spectrum of benefits such as equity, health insurance, vacation time, and paid parental leave. This salary range covers multiple levels of engineering roles and final compensation will be determined considering various factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications.Benefits (US only) 💖At WorkOS, we offer resources that emphasize personal and familial well-being.
