The Shipping Associate is responsible for coordinating all shipments shipping via LTL, UPS, Fed-EX, DHL, Air Freight, and Hot Shot.Some of the exciting things you will do in this role...
- Entering Bill of Ladings on TMS system
- Entering UPS shipments on UPS Worldship and creating labels for shipments
- Entering Fed Ex shipments on Fed Ex Shipping system and creating labels for shipments
- Create PMI reports using data captured on PMI gun
- Logging PMI data into spreadsheets
- Logging PMI calibration daily
- Calling and scheduling pickups with preferred carriers
- Cross training on Senior Order Processing Associate procedures to function as backup when needed
- Emailing tracking information as per requested by customers
- Coordinating with customer requested logistics companies to ensure outbound freight is picked up in a timely manner
- Attention to detail
- Applying UPS and Fed Ex labels to outbound shipments
- Verify shipping addresses on outbound shipments
A must…
- HS Diploma or GED required
- Minimum 2 years computer experience required
- Microsoft Excel and Word experience required
